## teachMathematics.net

We are three experienced mathematics teachers currently working at the International School of Toulouse. We have a real passion for those 'lessons to look forward to'. When, on the way to work, we are excited because we know that the activities we have planned are carefully designed to engage students and facilitate mathematical thinking and creativity on the way to understanding and exploring mathematical ideas! This site is all about those activities!

Take a quick video tour of the site here.

## Simple Structure

The structure of the site is really easy to follow. For now we have split our activities in to the four main topic categories for secondary mathematics teaching.

### Activity Index Pages

Under each of those headings we have the 'activities pages' where there is a simple list of all the different teaching activities available

### Activity Pages

Each activity has its own 'activity page' that gives a full description of the activity, offers all the resources needed to run the activity, showcases the activity with multimedia and offers advice to teachers on running the activity. The audience for these pages is both students and teachers. Teachers read ahead and students access what they need. The pages vary somewhat according to the activity.

### Search

All of our activities are tagged using a list of key mathematical and teaching terms. You can search using the box in the top right. Anything tagged with your search term will come up!

### Submit Feedback and comment

Each page has a submit feedback button where you can give us really quick feedback on a page. This is quick and anonymous (although you are welcome to leave your name!). In addition, you can leave comments on the page that will be there for everyone to see. Use these to ask questions or share how you used the activity!

### Subscribe!

Our resources cover hundreds of hours of secondary mathematics curriculum in the way we really want mathematics to be taught! The subscription fee of 80 Euros, 65 GBP or 100 USD (or equivalent wherever you are) is an absolute bargain and all we are asking to cover our costs and motivate us to keep making and sharing top quality resources. Just hit the red subscribe button in the top left! Read more about our rationale here on the Why Subscribe? page.

You get a username and password for you as an administrator and then a username and password for your school that all your teachers and students can use. It's that easy!

### Happy Teaching

We hope you and your students enjoy using this site and all of the ideas and resources on it! Thank you from the teachMathematics team!
